Site Maintainance and Help : Altering Site Nationality
Site Nationality An explanation of how to alter parts of the site using Images unique to each nation

Introduction

The site was initially constructed in Adobe Photoshop 6 as a layered image representing the finished page layout / look. To see the original layered image unzip this file :- design.zip.

Initially there are going to be 5 instances of this site based on geographical location - UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and the fifth one being a central site non-specific to any country. To distinguish these different instances it was important to allow for some regionalisation on each site so you each one would have it's own identity.

Changing the Site Nationality

As you can see form the above picture there are 3 areas where regional images are used. To allow these to be changed easily you'll find all the associated regional images in the /images/nationality directory in the site root. The images that are displayed on the site are in /images/nationality whilst the different variations are in /images/nationality/backup.

By default the 3 regional images are blank, these are the ones used for the central site. When you need to change the regional images on the site simply select the ones for the country required from the /images/nationality/backup directory and copy them into the /images/nationality directory and rename them as follows :-
